We are working with our client, an advertising agency located in Overland Park, KS to find an Account Executive to join their team!

In this role, you will assist with the development of client marketing communication strategies, as well as the successful and timely completion of projects. Ideal candidates should have 2-3 years of advertising/marketing agency experience, as well as excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Applicants should demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving skills, and an understanding of how an integrated agency operates.
Responsibilities:
- Be well versed in our client's business, products, and goals to define objectives and strategies for success an expert in our client's business
- Execute and manage marketing projects and ensure consistency across functional areas
- Actively contribute in the formulation of marketing communication plans
- Help develop creative briefs and brief agency teams to ensure proper direction
- Present briefs, estimates, and creative to client for approval and discussion
- Completion and update of status reports, both internally and client facing
- Build and identify additional growth opportunities by fostering and expanding existing and new client relationships
- Be a catalyst in developing and maintaining strong relationships between clients, Agency, and industry contacts
- Ensure all client demands are handled in an effective, timely, and efficient manner
- Proactively communicate critical client and industry news
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures
Skills/Qualifications:
- Initiative: exhibit self-motivation and a strong desire to perform at a high level
- Forward-thinking: able to anticipate questions, problems, and obstacles and formulate potential solutions
- 2+ years of relevant experience within the advertising and marketing industry, or a similar role within industry
- Business acumen (financial, marketing, and strategic) skills necessary to effectively interface both internally and with clients
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and agency team members
- Multi-tasking: able to handle multiple projects at once and balance shifting priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening) necessary to provide advertising direction within and outside the agency
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Desire and willingness to excel as a team
- Develop/implement client and project plans/budgets
- Success is measured by the quality of the end deliverable = a sum of client satisfaction, and Agency team satisfaction
- Ability to travel as needed or required / Unusual work hours are occasionally necessary to meet Agency and client timelines and deliverables
