In 1985, Landa Williams founded Status Pro, a Kansas City recruitment firm for direct hire positions in the advertising industry. LandaJob, a division of Status Pro, was created in 1992 to meet the industry’s demand for contract employees. Status Pro operations were later incorporated under the LandaJob name.

For over 25 years, companies with marketing, advertising, graphic design, communications and P.R. needs have looked to us to find the right talent for specific contract jobs, contract-to-hire and direct hire positions within their companies. LandaJob then makes the right fit, because we know the right people and these industries in Kansas City and the Midwest inside and out.

It’s a real job to get a job. So, we offer on-the-job training—an online job search portal with free resources, and also an in-house professional career coach—to help make the workload a little lighter and job search a lot more directed.

Did we mention how fortunate we are that our founding owner happens to be named Landa? The other owner’s name is Ralph. We think we made the right decision.
