Landa
Williams - 20+ years in agency management/publishing
Landa began her career at Harmon Smith Advertising with stints
at Vance Publishing, Barickman Advertising and Uppercase. She
also started and managed a division of Bernard Hodes Advertising,
an international agency specializing in recruitment advertising.
In 1985 she founded Status Pro, a recruitment firm for permanent
positions in the advertising industry. LandaJob, a division of
Status Pro, was created in 1992 to meet the industry's demand
for temporary employees. The name stuck and Status Pro operations
were later incorporated under the LandaJob name. Landa was honored
with the prestigious Advertising Club of Kansas City’s

Ralph
Gilbert
- 23 years in typography and pre-press technologies
Ralph’s career as a typographer (remember those guys?)
began in Louisville, Kentucky at Touchstone Publishing, a pioneer
in the use of computer and telecommunications technologies in
the pre-press industry. He served as production manager at Western
Typesetting in Kansas City, leaving there to help form Uppercase,
one of the Midwest's premier pre-press vendors. He has also served
as the educational director and director of research and development
for a national consortium of typographers, and has been a featured
speaker and panelist at many local and national industry functions.
Ralph became a partner in LandaJob in 1992.

Kathryn
Lorenzen - 18 years in corporate marketing/agency
account management
Kathryn started out in advertising as a traffic manager at New
Product Insights/SCG Advertising and worked her way up to management
supervisor
at Valentine Radford Advertising. Along the way, she worked as
a media and research manager
at ERA
Real Estate and in account management at several ad agencies --
including The Bosworth Group and The Reed Agency in Charleston,
SC. Henry Russell Bruce in Cedar Rapids, IA, and Bernstein-Rein
in Kansas City. She has become a Certified Personnel Consultant
(CPC; from the National Assn. of Personnel Services) and a Career
Development Facilitator (CDF; from the National Career Development
Assn.). Kathryn currently serves on the KC Ad Club Board and the
local board of the Association of Career Professionals International.
She's been at LandaJob since 1997.

Elisa
Haake - 9 years in advertising staffing
Elisa manages temporary staffing services and focuses on
direct-hire creative talent searches. She is
serving on the board of KC-Int'l Association of Business Communicators
as VP of Finance and is also a member of The Advertising Club of Kansas City.
